This event allows you to join forces with others in your neighborhoods, schools, and organizations to address litter and enhance the beauty of our state. Why the Great American Cleanup Matters
The Great American Cleanup encourages individuals to take more responsibility for their local environment by organizing service projects that involve volunteers, local businesses, and community leaders. These efforts have made a lasting impact, with past cleanups removing thousands of pounds of litter. In 2023 alone, participants nationwide cleared over 10 million pounds of litter and debris!
How to Get Involved
Everyone can be part of the Great American Cleanup! Whether you want to volunteer or host your own event, here’s how you can participate:
