Smokies Spring Clean - Earth Day Cleanup

Last year we held the LARGEST single day cleanup event (Spring Clean) in the history of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. We had over 200 volunteers attend the event and in 3 hours, those amazing volunteers removed over 4,600 lbs of litter and trash from the park. THAT’S INCREDIBLE!! And this year we’re doing it again!

2023 is here and that means it’s time to start making our final plans for our 2nd annual 2023 “Spring Clean” event scheduled for Earth Day on April 22. It’s the LARGEST cleanup we do inside the park and encompasses the whole park.

The "Cleanup" will be from 8:AM - 1:PM and a "Celebration" with free food and live music is be at the Institute at Tremont from 2:PM - 5:PM

Registration for this event will begin April 1st.
